Hi everyone and welcome back!
This week, we decided to share something we created as a resource for our parents (and a guide for pediatricians).
We frequently get asked:
- “What sounds should my child be making right now?”
- “What speech errors are normal at this age?, or
- “Strangers don’t understand my child but I do. Is that normal?”
There are tons of resources on line that can help you with this, but sometimes the information is not always consistent across websites.
Thus, to help make things easier, we have put all the information into one, easy to read table.
Hope this helps!
If you live in the D.C. area and have concerns about your child’s language or articulation and would like to seek additional help beyond what your school based speech pathologist may be able to provide, visit our speech-language pathology services page for more information on our assessment and pediatric speech therapy for kids of all ages.
