Jen Branchini is an outstanding speech therapist. I cannot say enough good things about her. She has been working with my son with moderate-to-severe speech apraxia for 2 years. He has made amazing progress during that time thanks to Jen’s care, hard work, and creativity. She’s thoughtful, educated and resourceful. Whenever we hit a road block, Jen starts problem solving and using all resources available to her to continue making forward progress. She always goes above and beyond to help our son. She texts and emails me regularly with feedback, ideas and resources for our family.

I know that she is one of his greatest supporters and is always celebrating his progress along with us. My son adores her. It is not often that you find someone with such a big heart that also has remarkable professional expertise and an extraordinary work ethic. Jen is a special person. I don’t know what we would do without her.

Cortney Lhota is an exceptional speech/language therapist.  She has been providing speech/language services to my daughter who has a very rare genetic condition called Williams syndrome. Cortney took her time to review all research provided to ensure her technique and delivery of treatment met the needs of my daughter. My daughter enjoys working with Cortney and looks forward to every session. I truly love seeing how excited my daughter gets in anticipation for her therapy sessions.

Cortney’s recommendations provided after each session are always spot on.  Cortney really knows our daughter better than many therapists she’s worked closely with, in all areas of her therapy.  This is having a huge impact in the level of progress she has made with Cortney.   It makes a world of a difference when a therapist truly “knows” your daughter, how to tap into her abilities and never limiting her potential or what she is truly capable of accomplishing. We are forever grateful for Cortney’s expertise, professionalism, and love for her role as a speech/language therapist.  We feel very lucky to get to work with her.

I found Jen on Yelp and started working with her associate, Angela, within a few days of connecting with them both. I never noticed anything off with my child’s speech, but after we started working with Angela, noticed a difference right away. After only a couple of sessions, the difference became more pronounced to me because her articulation was shifting dramatically for the better.

Angela has a wonderfully accessible and welcoming teaching style, and made my child feel safe and comfortable. Couple this with fun and engaging games that are used as lessons and you’ve got the perfect teaching/learning environment for success. We receive written assessments almost immediately following the end of each lesson, and the invoice at the start of each month. And with home visits, we couldn’t be happier!

If anyone is looking for a speech therapist for their child, I would like to highly recommend Jen Branchini.

She has been working with my son, who has Moebius syndrome and cleft palate, for over a year and he has made tremendous improvement, thanks to her.  She is very friendly and great with children.

She has gone above and beyond to support my son with his progress, including texting us to remind him to do his speech homework and attending doctor’s appointments with us.  She has training and experience working with children who have had palate surgery.

My elementary school aged son attended speech therapy with Cortney Lhota for a year.  During that time I saw my son’s use of speech and expressive language skyrocket.  He enjoyed going to see Ms. Cortney, and she totally understood and dealt with his stalling, zoning out, and distracting behaviors.  Cortney was gentle, yet firm, and she knew when to move on to something else.

If one approach did not take, she was creative and resourceful and tried a different approach.  Cortney made my son feel special and improved his confidence greatly. In addition to her work with my son, Cortney was absolutely terrific in communicating how to carryover therapy strategies. She also gave me all the tools to work with him at home.  I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a speech language pathologist.

My son was initially diagnosed with a nine month developmental delay at 2 years old. When he was 3, he was diagnosed with mild to moderate ASD and he has been undergoing speech therapy with Jen Branchini for the last two years. The qualities that make her stand out from other therapists are her patience, her creativity and her perseverance. She will not give up easily if your child is not making the progress that is typically expected.

Her kind and innovative approach to learning drew my son to her instantly. He does not respond or comply with just anybody. Aside from that, she is adamant about keeping parents informed of skills and techniques that need to be practiced at home to help your child succeed. She is very good about following up and has taught me that parent involvement is key. I would refer Jen Branchini to anyone who is looking for a speech pathologist, but especially for those who have a child on the spectrum or with behavioral issues.

Of course, she’s an expert in her field but what sets her apart from other therapist in her field is her sense of humor and her ability to make her clients feel at ease.

Jen Branchini has been AMAZING with our toddler. He started working with her for an expressive language delay right after he turned two – he was struggling to even approximate words, and was not stringing any words/sounds together. Within a few months of working with her, his language had exploded – and he had “graduated” from speech therapy completely before the 6 month mark.

He adored Jen and looked forward to their time together (he’d ask for her throughout the week, and still does!). She was fun, kind, and flexible with him – no small feat, since his toddler mood was often counterproductive during their sessions! She offered me invaluable advice and coaching so that I could better support our son’s language development day-to-day, and did so in a way that felt accessible, doable, and nonjudgmental. Further, she was quick to tell me once she thought he no longer needed weekly – and then eventually even monthly – therapy with her. We are incredibly grateful to Jen and District Speech & Language for everything they did for our son and our family!
